General Ordering Information
Purchasing from the LBD collection.co.uk /com
You can buy anytime, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But to place an order, you must:
1.       Be 18 years of age or older
2.       Be a consumer - not a reseller 
Please note that you need an e-mail address to place an order online. Also, in order to make full use of www.lbdcollections.co.uk and .com  which includes adding items to your shopping cart and checking out from our store, you'll need to set your browser to accept both cookies and pop-ups.
At what point in the ordering process am I bound by my order?
Note that you are only sending your order to us once you click the "Buy it" button at the end of the ordering process or if you request for your order to be placed through PayPal money request, if the order is placed in this way it will be deemed you have read, understood and agree with our Terms and Conditions.
Legal note: By clicking the "Buy It" button, your order is sent to us as displayed in the Final Check Out Screen. Once we have received your order, an automated confirmation of receipt will sent via e mail, or generated manually, which contains your order number and the details of your purchase. We will confirm your order manually by e mail if payment is made through PayPal payment request.  The purchase agreement has now been concluded. A copy of the confirmation of receipt will be sent to your e-mail address also, which we suggest that you print or download for future reference. Note that we reserve the right to not accept your order or to cancel the purchase agreement. Orders cannot be cancelled after 4 hours of placing the order.
Our right to not accept your order or to cancel your purchase
We reserve the right to for whatever reason refuse any order, or to cancel any purchase or our Terms and Conditions of sales. Some of the situations in which we may do so are:
-The fabric or pattern of your fabric is not available 
-Your billing information is not correct or not verifiable
-Your payment is not received within 12 calendar days after confirmation of your order
-We have reason to believe that your order may be fraudulent
-We have reason to believe you are under 16
-We have reason to believe that you are a reseller
-There was an error in the price quote
-We could not deliver at the address provided by you

-A customer has previously breached their contract with us or has communicated inappropriately with any of our staff members
Data check
When you send us your order, we may run some checks on it before it is fulfilled. These checks may include verifying your address, checking for fraud if necessary, and creditworthiness if you wish to open a credit account with us only. By submitting your order, you agree to this.
Information on our website
In order to give you the best view of our products in great detail, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs. Due to personal computer and monitor settings the colour may vary. We provide you with as much information and detail about our apparel and accessories as possible, we do not accept goods back as a manufacturers fault  on the basis that the colour or size is different to the one shown as this would be due to computer monitor settings and not a manufacturers or suppliers fault.
The material contained in this website has been checked for accuracy. However, the LBD collection makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy and it is supplied without any expressed or implied warranties. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on the site is provided to you "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
You acknowledge by your use of this site that the LBD collection assumes no responsibility for any consequence, damage or loss relating directly or indirectly to any action or inaction you take based on the information, services, or other materials on this site. Some jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. Site visitors should check local laws for any restrictions or limitations regarding the exclusions of implied warranties.
In no event and under no legal or equitable theory, whether contract, tort, or otherwise, shall the LBD collection be liable to you or any other person for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses or damages arising out of the use of or the inability to use this site. In no event will the LBD collection be liable to for any damages in excess of the monies paid by you in connection with your use of this site.
Product availability and pricing
The LBD collection.co.uk and Com reserves the right to discontinue or change product specifications and prices without prior notice. All garments are made to measure and are bespoke to a customers requirements, or are made to order only. 

On occasions there may be some changes to colour, shade of colour, lace beading or other decoration on the garment which we have no control over, this is due to a particular colour or decoration not being available with our manufacturers when your garment was being made, when this happens our manufacturer will choose a colour/shade or decoration as close as possible to match the colour shown in any images previously seen, we cannot be held responsible for any changes made that we were unaware of at the time the garment was made. If you expressly do not want a closest match shade which will be the closest available at the time of making the garment, please notify us by e mail after you have placed your order so we can make our manufacturers aware. This does not happen frequently and is an exception when it occurs, but it may occur. The LBD Collection will not be held responsible for any changes to colour as made by our manufacturers designer at the time of making the garnent and a refund or like for like exchange cannot be provided as this is not a manufacturers fault, as our customer will be aware of this when placing their order. If a different shade is chosen to the one that is worn on the model, our designers will choose complimentary coloured beading and not the same colour as shown on the models dress. Please note as each dress, gown and garment is made to order and by hand, no two items of the same style will ever be exactly the same as they are all unique, this is not intended to mislead but is an aspect to be expected when an item is individually made, not mass produced, and is bespoke and made to order. 

As soon as we receive your order we will immediately begin producing your bespoke made to measure or made to order garment and therefore cannot accept any cancellations unless you cancel immediately after placing your order and no more than 4 hours accepted in e mail form only from the customer,  after payment has been made, if our manufacturers have not commenced cutting fabrics we can request the cancellation but this is not guaranteed our manufacturer will allow this, any cancellation made that our manufacturers agree to which is beyond the 4 hours guarantee periond and only if they agree, will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge of the full amount the customer has paid to cover the costs of manufacturing work to date and admnistration carried out to that point. If our manufacturer is unable to agree to this the 4 hour cancellation period from order placement policy is final. Any discretionary credit notes issued to a customer must be used within 60 calendar days of issue. Any duplicate payments made will be refunded and this can take up to 30 days.

We cannot be held responsible for any incorrect measurements provided to us by customers as we make the garments specifically to the size and measurements our customers have provided us with, whether they are supplied exactly as requested or in part from a customer, we provide our customers with a 'How to measure yourself guide', which must be followed accurately by all customers, failure by the customer to follow the instructions correctly or to not provide us with all  or any of the measurements we  have requested, will result in us using a high street retailers average size guide, or our manufacturers designer basing the missing measurement(s) with an average measurement based on the other limited measurements the customer has provided us with, which could well result in the garment being too small or too large, too short or too long as we were not provided with accurate information or with limited information we had requested. Further alterations may be required and this will be at the customer's own expense. It is the customers full responsibility to provide us with all the measuremens we have requested by accurately following our guide within 24 hours of placing the order, failure to do so will render the customer totally responsible for any losses, errors, or costs of alterations required on receiving their garment. The LBD Collection will not be held responsible for any losses,refunds or like for like exchanges requested by the customer as a result of any customers error,  incorrect or incomplete information provided, or lack of providing full information. The customer is responsible for providing the accurate measurements and any garments which prove to be too small or too large will be deemed as the customers error i not providing us with with the correct measurements by not following our guide and subsequently providing incorrect measurements. If we atempt delivery and a customer does not re schedulle a further delivery through the chosen courier and the goods are returned to us, the customer will be liable for the return of the goods and any loss, damage, discolouration, etc will be the responsibility of the customer as we have attempted to deliver the goods, and the customer will also be responsible for the cost of re sending the goods back to them again, if they haven't been lost during the returns process. No repeat returns will be made by The LBD Collection without prior cleared payment including the charges applied by PayPal, Google Checkout, for transaction payments requested of the customer. We will not in any circumstances hold any returns or failed deliveries for more than 30 days and any garments will after 30 days of being held by us by fault of the customer disposed of and we will not be liable for any losses or compensation as a result of a customer clai therafter.

All prices displayed on our site are quoted in GBP- Sterling Pounds, all sizes are UK sizes. While the LBD collection strives to provide accurate pricing and product information, inadvertent errors may occur. In the event of an error in pricing and product information, The LBD Collection shall have the right in its sole discretion to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item.
Any advertised prices are not binding on theLBDcollection.co.uk/com, and may be adjusted by theLBD collection.co.uk/com at any time. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Placement of an order and receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute final acceptance of an order. Certain information may need to be confirmed prior to accepting your order. Your order, or any portion thereof, may be declined even after your receipt of an order confirmation.

Owing to the high beading content on most of the garments, dry cleaning and steaming any creases caused in transit, not ironing,  is recommended for all purchases made and we cannot be responsible for any faults caused by a customer lack of care in following care intructions.  Clothing  may require additional individual tailoring even when they are mad with measurements provided by a customer which would be an additional cost for the customer, even though we have asked for specific measurements as soon as your order is placed with us due to a customer's body shape and the design or shape of a garment additional tailoring may be required at the customers additional cost. 

Some garments may require a hooped underskirt or Tu-Tu style petticoat to achieve a fuller style skirt, this will be at the customers additional expense.

All of our garments are made specifically at a customers request, we do not hold any stock of any garments, either made to order or made to measure, we cannot refund you once you have ordered the garment and the 4 hour cancellation period has elapsed as we submit your order immediately to our manufacturer and the garment will have commenced the manufacturing processes involved to your specific requirements, so therefore we cannot re sell the bespoke garment once it is completed. this does not affect your statutory rights, we will exchange any major faulty items on a 'like for like' basis only, Please note, we do not provide refunds and bespoke made to order or made to measure items are exempt from the distance selling regulations act. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We are unable to exchange on a like for like basis or refund any clothing items that have been tailored made, made to order or adjusted after you have received them unless there is a recognised fault. Any like for like exchanges we agree to beforehand, by the customer following our returns policy fully will only be made if the customer submits an e mail only directly to customerservice@thelbdcollection.co.uk on the day the item was delivered, this cannot be reported via telephone or through a third party, and the item is subsequently returned to us with the reference number we have provided them with clearly marked on the front of the returned package and is returned by recorded delivery within 7 days at the customers cost, still in its original packaging and with all labels still attached, if there is any evidence that the item has been worn or has been damaged we cannot exchange the item, it is the customers responsibility to return the item in the condition they received it and any damage caused by the courier on the return will be the customers responsibility, therefore the customer should ensure they have taken sufficient insurance to cover the cost of the item. Please note we will not accept any returned  garments if the above information is not followed correctly and we have not agreed with the customer that there is a fault with the garment. Any items sent to us without the correct procedure and agreement not being followed  by the customer will be returned to the customer and any losses arising from the return will be the customers responsibility and the initial agreement will be void. If you do not clearly state the reference number we provide on the front of the package, the acceptance of the package will be refused by us. We only make bespoke garments for our customer's and we are unable to re sell any garments. Any garments with an agreed manufacturers fault will be returned to our manufacturers for them to provide the customer with a like for like exchange only. Please do not under any circumstances request a refund as this will be refused due to us being unable to re sell the bespoke garment and only like for like exchanges will be made for any manufacturers faults found, this does not affect your statutory rights.

We will deliver your order by courier or Royal Mail, this will require a signature on delivery, the free service is for standard second class post only, if a customer is not at home when the delivery is attempted and they fail to collect the order resulting in it being returned, any losses which arise from the loss of the order or damage as a result of a failure of the customer to accept the delivery will be the customers responsibility and loss as we have delivered the order as agreed in our contract, but the customers failure to receive or collect the order has resulted in any subsequent loss or damage from the point of delivery.  The LBD Collection will not provide a replacement garment under these circumstances and will not be held responsible. Any further postal costs will be at the expense of the customer as they failed to accept the delivery at the first attempt. If a customer requires urgent delivery, it is their responsibility to request this service from us and to pay the costs to cover the requested service in advance of the shipping date, this will include a 3% surcharge for payment through PayPal or Google Checkout as this is the charge they incurr. We are not responsible for a paid for guaranteed service which does not arrive on time as will be deemed as a service which is beyond our control.

Please refer to our measurement chart prior to placing your order and choose the size closest to your measurements, once your order is received we will make contact with you to obtain your specific measurements. If we do not receive a response to our e mail with an e mail from the customer within 24 hours providing us with your precise measurements, we will proceed with making your garment to the  standard high street retail size based on an average height of 5ft 6inches. As the garment will be made to order, there will be no refund if the garment does not fit, nor can we exchange the garment unless there is an agreed manufacturers fault, as it will be deemed that the customer has not provided us with the correct measurements that we have requested, which is their responsibility and are therefore happy for us to proceed with a standard size, we cannot be held responsible for any further alterations which may be required or if the garment does not fit. All our garments are made to order or made to specific measurements, we do not hold stock and our garments are solely made to a customers request. Our current manufacturers faults are less than 2% of our total customer orders as we use reputable and skilled manufacturers and all items are quality checked at least twice prior to being sent to a customer. 
Delivery dates to a customer are not guaranteed and all time scales are an approximate guide , even when a customer provides us with a specific date they require their order for, we will endeavor to ensure goods are delivered within our stated date range or by a date provided by you the customer this is not a guaranteed delivery date as several aspects of the process of making garments and shipping may incur delays which we have no control over whatsoever, if there are any delays resulting in the order arriving later than requested or our estimated delivery dates we cannot be held responsible by the customer for any losses, costs of purchasing another garment, compensation, nor can we accept a customer's cancellation  after 4 hours of the order being placed, resulting from the garment not being delivered by a specific date that we have been striving towards meeting. Garments will normally be dispatched between 10 to14 working days after the order is placed and after the payment has cleared to our account, which is an additional 3-5 working days approximately, this timescale can increase during busy periods of the year, or when our manufacturers have holiday periods which will be different to the UK holiday periods as our garments are made abroad, every effort is made to send the goods out as quickly as possible,. Garments are normally delivered within 10 -14 days approximately in the UK after payment has cleared, but this cannot be guaranteed as we have different suppliers and lead times can vary due to holidays or busy times of the year, also some garments require far more more work due to the style and design which will lengthen the manufacturing lead time.  Delivery of some clothes, shoes and boots may take 4 – 8 weeks, although this longer length of time is not usual and we will make every effort to deliver them within 2 weeks and in most cases will do so, but this cannot be guaranteed. On occasions there may be delays caused by our suppliers or in the processes involved in shipping the goods which is out of our control and we will not be held responsible of accountable  for any losses or compensation arising from a delay as we are unable to guarantee a date or timescale for delivery but endeavour to work to our general timescale or a customers requested date, orders cannot be cancelled if the item is bespoke or made to order after the 4 hour cancellation period after order placement and any delay is caused by a situation that is out of our control. Delivery will take longer to the US or other countries, customers can expect to receive their order approximately 4-6 weeks after placing their order. Any cancellations made after the 4 hour standard cancellation period from order placement, or charge backs for non delivery when the customer has not waited a minimum of 6 weeks, which is still not a guaranteed delivery timescale, will be reported as a fraudlent claim and will also be viewed as a breach of contract.

If a customer does not specify a date for when their order is required when initially placing their order we cannot then be held responsible if a customer informs us at a later date they require their garment by a specified date that we are unable to meet as we are unable to guarantee delivery timescale regardless of whether a specific date is given by the customer or not, we cannot be held responsible for not providing them with the item or any other expenses that have occurred as a result of their lack in notifying us at the time of the order being placed, we will not be able to accept cancellation out of the standard cancellation time limit as garments are made to a customers request and the order is sent immediately to our manufacturers after the order is placed by the customer with us.

We shall not be responsible or liable for delays, losses or damage to an order or failures with delivery caused by a failure to gain access to the delivery address, a faliure by the customer to collect their order after a delivery attempt has been made, or because of other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, any loss or damage of the order on its return to us will be the customers full responsibility. No goods will be dispatched until full payment has been received including surcharges by the payment provider and our admin and repackaging costs where needed. Payments made via PayPal or Google may take 3-7 working days to clear. 

 All free shipping garments over £100.00 are sent to our customer's in the UK only via standard 2 nd class recorded delivery free of charge which can take 4-10 working days approximately, this isn't guaranteed, to be delivered. If a customer requires a speedier delivery service, including next day guaranteed delivery and they also require the order to be insured for the total cost of the garments for a next day delivery service, the customer will be responsible for informing us in advance via e mail and to pay and clear any additional charges that will be incurred prior to orders being dispatched only if the customer has made us aware via e mail communication beforehand. Any delays incurred or garments not arriving in time for a special event due to the free courier service we provide will be deemed as being beyond our control as the customer is aware of our free service conditions and The LBD Collection not being responsible for any losses incurred as a result of any delays, nor can we accept any cancellations or returned goods, other than those which have an agreed manufactures fault.

If a customer requests their goods are delivered to a business address or a PO Box whether in the UK or overseas, we cannot be held responsible for any losses, including the loss of the garment, arising from the customer not receiving the order. We highly recommend that you provide a home address and if one is not provided and another option is given, the full loss will be the customer's responsibility and we cannot be held responsible for any losses whatsoever. 

For overseas customer's. The cost of shipping the order to you is for a standard Royal Mail Airsure or International service, this takes approximately 3-15 working days to arrive as informed by Royal Mail, but all times are approximate and are not guaranteed as this element is out of our control and delays can occur with Customs and any necessary import checks procedures carried out in the destination country, also the reliability of your country's internal postage service once the package has arrived overseas. The LBD Collection cannot be held responsible for any delays that occur due to Royal Mail, Customs, Import checks, your internal postage service and any other delays that may occur during transit. It is the customer's responsibility to inform us they wish to have a speedier service prior to the goods being dispatched and to pay any us at least 3 days in advance of shipping any additional shipping charges that will be incurred by us using a speedier shipping service. Whilst we will upgrade the service at the request and cost of the customer, we still cannot be held responsible for any costs, compensation or delays which may occur as this is out of our control and it will be the customer's responsibility to take this matter further with the shipping company they agreed to use. Any import taxes or duties charged will be the customers responsibility. Any charge backs made inappropriately or non payment will be passed to our payment collection services for full payment to be made by the customer and any fraudulent claims will be reported.

Please also refer to our delivery and returns terms as they are also part of our terms and conditions and by accepting the Terms and Conditions you are also accepting that you have read and accept our delivery and returns policies and agree to all our terms of trading with you.  Any failure by the customer to comply with our Terms and Conditions will be deemed a breach of contract and any necessary action will be taken as a result of the breach.

Any abusive, rude or inappropriate e mails or telephone calls made to any staff member at The LBD Collection will be either terminated or deleted without any further response given to the customer, the relevant telephone number will be barred and the e mail address will be blocked to prevent any further harassmsment,with any further actions taken as neccesary. No correspondance or communication will take place with the relevant person after the inappropriate action has taken place and the customer will not be able to place any further orders with us again, If necessary we will cancel the order before it is completed which will result in 50-75% of the customer payment being kept by The LBD Collection to cover the costs incurred by the manufacturer and The LBD Collection up until that point. Fortunately this is a very rare situation and is generally caused by a customer not having read the Terms and Conditions of placing their order with us thoroughly before placing their order. Our staff have a right to work in an environment where they are not subjected to rude, offensive or inappropriate communications. 

Any PayPal direct payments made by a customer as a result of a payment request being made, it will be deemed that the customer has read our full Terms and coniditons of placing their order and have accepted the terms in full. 

Our Terms and Conditons do not affect your statutory rights.
