Ordering and Measurements for Bespoke

Please order your general size from the size chart below.

US customers, all our size options are UK sizes so please refer to the UK measurements and order the appropriate size)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Once you have placed your order, we will request via the email address you have given us, your bespoke measurements. We will send you a guide to assist you with your measurements.  

If we do not receive a response within 24 hours  to our customerservice@thelbdcollection.co.uk  email address, we will proceed with ordering to a standard high street size, as you provided. ie size 14.

How to Measure: (Best to have a friend measure you)

Bust - Measure around the fullest part of your bust.  (Wearing a non padded bra)

Waist - Measure around your natural waistline about 2 inches above your belly button.  

Hips-  Measure around the fullest part of your hips.   (Approximately 8" below your waistline).

Always leave a little room as you do not want your dress or gown to fit like a second skin

Length - Measuring from the top of your shoulder down the side of your arm to the desired length on your leg/thigh, keeping straight while doing this. Please note, if it is a long dress you are ordering you will need to also add the height  of your heels so that the gown is not too short.

You will also on occasions, depending on your chosen style of dress or gown, need to provide the measurement from your collarbone, down your front to your bust, include the roundness and contour above and below of your bust, then continue taking the measurement with the tape measure against your body, not with the tape measure inches in front of your body, to the desired length on your leg or thigh. We will inform you if we require this measurement if you haven't provided us with it when placing your order. It would be helpful if someone could take the measurement for you to avoid you having to bend if  you may need to do if carrying out this yourself.

If you do not require a made to measure garment, please follow the Manufacturer's size chart below to determine your size.  Base your size on the widest part of your body.  For example, if your hips are wider than the measurement on the size chart, even if your bust or waist is not, choose the size for the hip measurement.

Always choose the size that will accommodate the largest measurement on your body, whether it is your hips, waist or bust.

If in doubt-Order the larger size- since dresses can be altered smaller but they can't always be altered to make them larger!!
