Q : I can’t find the size option I require in the drop down box?

A: It does not mean we cannot make the dress or gown in the size you require, as we are a made to measure bespoke clothes company. We are continuously updating our website. If you require a size that is not shown in the drop down box, please place your order and email us your size. There is sometimes  an additional material charge for sizes 22+ to cover the extra materials used. Your choose to send us your bespoke measurements in 24 hours of placing your order, or we shall bespoke make for you your standard size as per your order, using a normal high street UK or USA retailers size chart.

Q:  What sizes do you do?

In the main, 99% of our items come in size UK   2 to 32/34

Q: I would like a different colour to the colours available in the drop down box options?

A: We can make the dresses or gown in most colours, please refer to our colour chart on our Home page and contact us at customerservice@thelbdcollection.co.uk and we will confirm if we can make the dress or gown in the colour you require, in most cases we can. Some web browsers show a slight distortion in colour.

Q Do you do plus sizes?

A: Yes we do plus sizes in everything we do, we can make any size.

Q: Is there an extra charge for a different colour if requested?

A: In most cases there is no extra charge

Q: I like a particular dress but would like to modify it, for example have sleeves placed on a shoestring strap dress or gown, or have extra beads added, is this possible?

A: One of the great advantages of buying a made to measure gown or dress from LBD Collection  is in most cases we can make any changes you require, depending on the agreement of our designers. Request depending may add extra charges. Information on the additional costs will be provided when we receive your special request to customerservice@thelbdcollection.co.uk and we have liaised with our designers.

 Q: I want my dress or gown made to my exact size, can I do this?

A: Yes, we are a bespoke made to measure special occasions wear Company. If you do not return your bespoke measurements to us within 24 hours of receiving our measurement guide, we will make for you at a standard UK Size with an average 5ft 6 height for length purposes.  PLEASE NOTE: If a standard size is ordered for up to a size 20 dress or gown, but on receiving your individual measurements we find your measurements are in the bracket of a size 22+, we may have to request the relevant additional material cost.

A:  Yes, you can select any colour you like. If the colour you want is not on our colour chart, please e mail us the colour you would like and we will see if our designers can source the same colour and shade. We will require your measurements after we receive your order. There are no additional charges unless you require size 22+ or any specific adaptions or accessories.

Q: I like a dress, but would prefer a longer or shorter length, is this possible?

A: Yes, we make the garments exactly to the length you require.

Q  So can a short prom dress style be made into a full length one?

A:  Yes it can, as long as the design will work, then no problems.

Q: How long will it take for my dress or gown to be delivered to me?

A: Approximately 10-15 working days after your payment has cleared to our bank account, Please note once your payment has been made to Google Checkout or PayPal. We can only provide an approximate time guide as some of the manufacturing and shipping aspects are out of our direct control and we cannot be held responsible for any further delays if they should occur. We generally deliver to our timescales and always aim to provide you with your order by a specific date, if you provide us with one, although this cannot be guaranteed.

Q: Is my dress or gown insured with the delivery method used?

A:  We are responsible for delivering your order to you and your package will require a signature on delivery. If you are not in when delivery is attempted, a card will be posted through your letterbox to let you know delivery has been attempted. If you fail to collect the package or do not re organise a suitable delivery date and the order is returned to us, any losses or damage which may occur in the goods being returned due to a failed delivery will be the full responsibility of the customer, as we will have fulfilled our promise to deliver, but the customer has not attempted to collect or re schedule. Any further postal/courier costs for the item to be returned to the customer again will be the customer’s responsibility. We will send you a tracking number where applicable.

Q: I cannot place my order for some reason when I am going through checkout.

A: Please contact us at customerservice@thelbdcollection.co.uk and we will resolve the problem for you and in the meantime whilst it is being resolved we will send you a payment request to speed up your order if we are unable to resolve any IT issues immediately.

Q: I live in Manila; can I still place an order with you?

A:  We ship globally so you can order from wherever you live in the world.

Q: Is the price in pounds or dollars?

A: All pricing is in UK pounds, you can convert it to your currency when paying online if you prefer.

Q: I just want to order a dress, not made to measure.

A: You can just choose your size from the drop down box, or e mail us if your size isn’t listed and we will order it to your standard chosen size using a high street retailers standard measurements as a guide.  Please refer to our measurement chart first as all manufacturers measurements can vary. Please note standard measurement dresses or gowns cannot be returned as they are still made bespoke & specifically to your order requirement as we do not hold stocks of any item .  If there was an agreed manufacturers fault, the garment would  be replaced on a like for like exchange only, this does not affect your statutory rights.

Q: I have tried to call you but cannot get a reply.

A: We are now open 24 hours a day

Q: I am not sure what the quality will be like.

A: Our dresses and gowns are made to a very high quality standard and are almost always lined, you will notice the dresses and gowns are quite weighty due to the high quality fabrics and lining used to make the garment, if anything our prices should be higher for the quality and service we provide, but we like to give you our customers high quality at affordable prices. We are confident you will get a lot of wear out of your dress or gown. We have many customers who purchase garments on a repeat purchase due to their satisfaction with the orders they have received previously. We also made the gown for the latest Land Rover Discovery 4 advertisement for the model to wear, which the Director informed us was 'Amazing', we provide the same quality and service to all our customers.  Please view some of our customer testimonials on our website.

Q:  Sequins & Beads?

In most cases we use  Beads, and sequins, where it says crystals, we use crystals

Q: I have seen a dress in a magazine I would really like; can you make this for me?

A: in most cases we can, subject to designer copyright etc, we will not make a copy of any garment that is subject to designers copyright. Please let us know your design and we can have it priced for you and let you know we can make it. We think you will find in most cases you will find your dress or gown on our website, which we continuously update, but if we can help with a chosen design we will do our best to help you. We have noticed though on more than one occasion, high profile people wearing 'designer' gowns which are very similar if not the same as gowns or dresses we have.

Q: Does the price include postage and VAT?

A: Yes, if you are UK based the price you see (if over £100.00) is the actual sum you will pay, postage is via Fed X signed for which takes approximately 2-3 working days, if you require a quicker service there are options at checkout to select from . Other Worldwide countries the shipping costs are shown at checkout.  UK orders below £100 are subject to the delivery cost in addition to the cost of the item at £4.95.

Q:  Do you do Gents, made to measure suits?

A    We are building a brand new website and will be adding in an entire section for men!

Q:   Do you do wedding dress’s

A:   Yes we many clients wedding dresses, they are truly beautiful and we will be expanding our   ranges shortly
